Calculate the fibre volume concentration with Moldflow

Did you know that Moldflow can calculate the fiber volume concentration?

If you are using Moldflow Insight 2023 and have installed Scandium, one of the tech preview features is fiber volume concentration. Simply set up a normal fiber analysis and ensure to turn on fiber volume concentration (Process Settings – Advanced Options – Solver Parameters – Edit – Fiber Analysis – Calculate Fiber Concentration).

The volume of fibers can impact items such as shrinkage, warpage, and surface appearances.
